Web Content Manager
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Web Content Manager to ensure consistency and governance across our web platforms. This role sits on the Enterprise Content Team and thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments, partnering well with compliance and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality work.
About the role
You will manage and update our CMS in Contentful, project manage content updates in Adobe Workfront, and coordinate content across platforms like Seismic. You’ll also support content governance, audits, and planning while leveraging enterprise-approved AI tools to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Project manage content updates in the Workfront platform:
- Review web requests for updates across the website.
- Manage the process of content creation with writers.
- Ensure consistency with tags and processes in Welcome.
- Perform content updates on platforms:
- Edit and create new pages for all web platforms in Contentful CMS.
- Update content for advisors on Seismic.
- Work with creative teams on image sourcing and resizing as needed.
- Send previews to project requesters.
- Coordinate content across platforms.
- Manage expiring content and broken links:
- Review broken links reports and correct issues.
- Generate expiring content reports and manage updates or sunset pages with page owners in Welcome.
- Check analytics and provide recommendations on pages.
- Support content governance:
- Conduct content audits to categorize pages and determine next steps based on goals, data, and usage.
- Manage content inventory.
- Govern videos across platforms to ensure compliance.
- Support content planning:
- Provide PowerPoint presentation support for content strategy.
- Use enterprise-approved AI tools to support work while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Contentful CMS.
- Adobe Workfront experience.
- Familiarity with Seismic.
- Keen eye for brand consistency.
- Project management and content operations experience.
- Working knowledge of HTML.
- Excellent verbal and email communication skills.
- Familiarity with Associated Press style of writing.
- Strong organization, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform well under deadlines and be detail-oriented.
- Comfort using AI content tools for drafting, summarization, and metadata, with strong editorial judgment to review and correct AI output.
- Adaptability and comfort learning new content tools and platforms as the tech stack evolves.
- Data literacy: comfort reading analytics and translating it into content recommendations.
Reporting relationships
This role reports to the Web Content Managing Editor, who reports to the Enterprise and Brand Content Lead.
Location
This position is based in New York, NY, with an in-office requirement of three days per week. Travel is not required.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $70,930.00 - $106,390.00. The final salary will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. This role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
