About the role
The Web Content Analyst is responsible for formatting and publishing content to the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland's internal and external websites. This includes translating stakeholder requirements and wireframes into high-quality webpages, managing the day-to-day staging, formatting, and publishing of all content, and ensuring that content follows UX, GEO, and SEO best practices.
Responsibilities
- Write clean, semantic HTML and CSS, and troubleshoot layout or styling issues across browsers and devices.
- Debug and resolve front-end issues quickly, ensuring smooth user experiences.
- Act as a liaison with developers and product owners, regarding CMS and website requirements, identifying bugs and requesting problem resolution.
- Collaborate directly with business teams or stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze customer business needs, and bring concepts to life.
- Apply web content and user experience best practices.
- Maintain consistent branding and design standards.
- Implement GEO/SEO best practices, including meta tags, keyword and image optimization.
- Test and validate pages before publishing to ensure accuracy and functionality.
- Manage embargoed and critical scheduled publishes.
- Oversee proper CMS workflow usage to meet compliance expectations and mitigate risk.
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in digital strategy, technology, marketing or similar discipline.
- 5+ years of related experience to include:
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and basic JavaScript for front-end web development.
- Hands-on experience with Sitecore.
- Experience with WordPress is a plus.
- Strong debugging skills and familiarity with browser developer tools.
- Exceptional proofreading and organizational skills, with a focus on accuracy.
- Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Semrush).
- Technical skills in CRM (e.g., Salesforce), visualization tools, and data analytics and reporting.
- Front-end web developer capabilities, including ability to build new components in a Content Management System.
Skills
- Knowledge of domain, regulations, procedures and practices of a specific discipline and/or business line.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Understanding of content marketing principles.
- Experience with search engine optimization (SEO).
- Analytical skills.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Technical skills in applicable technologies such as CSS, HTML, SiteCore.
Pay
The expected starting salary range for the Web Content Analyst is between $73,400 and $91,800 annually. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and market data.
Schedule
This is a full-time, regular position.
