Responsibilities
- Assist the Web Development team with maintaining the internal library Wikipedia.
- Edit library web pages using HTML and CSS.
- Perform user experience (UX) testing, working with users to identify needs and hurdles, including both online and in-person testing.
- Answer questions and tickets, maintain existing content, and contribute to other projects as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of web-based accessibility standards and best practices, HTML and CSS, experience and comfort in virtual communication and collaboration, ability to work independently and collaboratively, knowledge of Microsoft and Google Office Suites, and experience with CMS (Drupal, Wordpress).
- A Master’s degree or currently enrolled in a master’s degree or certificate program is preferred but not required.
Benefits
The position offers an anticipated salary range of $15 per hour. The schedule is 8-10 hours per week, Monday-Friday between 9am - 4pm EST.
