What You Will Do
- Draws in warp yarn according to specifications.
- Follows procedures to install lease(s)/lease rods and knot tying warp(s) as necessary.
- Completes all documentation requirements.
- Makes various fabrics and woven products according to requirements.
- Identifies and corrects defects.
- Records qualitative and quantitative measurements in accordance with internal specifications.
- Makes processing adjustments to ensure quality product.
- Accurately logs machines downtime reason with use of a tablet.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Who You Are
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 0–1-year related experience.
- Must be able to hand off the status of jobs to overlapping shifts.
- Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, work instructions, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Possess basic mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Basic understanding of good manufacturing practices and working within regulated industries.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to get along well with others and work in a team environment.
- Excellent dependability and reliability.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use MS Office for email.
- Willingness to accept change, learn, and work with new processes.
- Familiarity with an ERP system preferred.
