Responsibilities
- Ensure that looms are running defect free after any corrective action. Document and/or flag if needed.
- Patrols assigned looms according to defined assignment, repair loose ends, waste running, and ends without dropwires.
- Examine looms to determine causes of loom stoppage, such as warp filling, harness breaks, or mechanical defects and correct as needed
- Inspect cloth for defects and prevent loom from running seconds
- Work closely with Loom Technicians in order to improve quality and yield. Communicate with fabric inspectors in order to anticipate any potential defects.
- Adjusting/repairing/changing essential machine components
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Teamwork, collaboration and adaptability to changing work environment and business needs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and understand instructions and manuals
- Basic computer skills
- Experience with looms and weaving machinery
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of weaving processes
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
