Weatherization Purchasing Program Coordinator

About the role

We're hiring a Weatherization & HVAC Operations Supervisor to lead and support our energy-efficiency upgrade programs across multiple counties. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction or weatherization, strong supervisory skills, and a commitment to professional development.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor Weatherization and HVAC crews
• Manage work orders, replacement equipment, inventory, and documentation
• Oversee quality control and inspections
• Coordinate client recruitment, outreach, and education efforts
• Maintain accurate records, inventories, and reporting across counties
• Train, coach, and develop staff in alignment with DOE requirements and the Utah Weatherization Field Guide
• Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, trust, and teamwork

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass background checks and drug/alcohol screening
• Commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and teamwork
• Minimum 2 years of weatherization or supervisory experience
• CDL or forklift certification (preferred)
• Nonprofit experience (preferred)
• Bilingual skills (preferred)
• Experience working with individuals and families experiencing poverty (preferred)

• Bachelor's degree or technical certification

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This role is primarily office-based with occasional visits to client homes. Physical demands are generally light and infrequent, with some standing, driving, and lifting (50 lbs. or more).
