WEATHERIZATION INSTALLER / CARPENTER

We are currently building our brand-new corporate headquarters in Phelps, NY, giving our team new opportunities for growth and training. We are continuing to grow and are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Weatherization Installer to join our growing team. This position focuses on improving home comfort, energy efficiency, and safety through air sealing, insulation, and related weatherization measures.

Responsibilities

• Install insulation (blown-in, dense pack, spray foam, batts)
• Perform air sealing (caulking, foaming, weather-stripping)
• Install vapor barriers and air barriers
• Set up and operate insulation and blower equipment
• Perform basic diagnostics (blower door testing a plus)
• Follow job specifications, safety standards, and quality guidelines
• Maintain a clean and safe jobsite
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members

Qualifications

• Construction, insulation, or weatherization experience preferred (will train the right candidate)
• Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, and confined spaces
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders
• Basic hand tool knowledge
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• OSHA 10, BPI, or weatherization certifications are a plus (not required)
