Weather-Seal & Transport Logistics

About the role

Rise Modular, LLC is seeking a skilled, safety-conscious, reliable, and detail-oriented Weather-Seal & Transport Logistics to join our production and transport team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying weatherproofing and heavy-duty shrink wrap protection to volumetric modular units, ensuring they are fully sealed again weather elements, and safely loading them onto transport trailers for delivery.

Responsibilities

• Wrap modules with specialized weather-proofing materials and apply shrink-wrap system to guarantee a secure, weather-tight seal during transit.
• Safely operate overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting jacks to maneuver and position modules onto transport trailers with precision.
• Measure weather-tight units, check for proper placement, squareness, and symmetry, and take immediate corrective action to resolve alignment or sealing issues.
• Accurately measure and cut protective materials to precise specifications using hand tools and power equipment.
• Maintain strict adherence to all safety protocols, work safely at various heights, and keep a clean, organized work area.
• Perform other related carpentry and production duties as assigned by team leadership.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of hands-on experience or closely related construction/manufacturing field.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, or layout specifications.
• Comfortable using various hand tools, power tools, and specialized wrapping/heat equipment.
• Strong focus on quality control, ensuring zero gaps in weather protection and precise physical placement.
• Solid grasp of measurements, fractions, and calculations for layout and cutting tasks.
• Highly dependable with a strong track record of attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements & Working Environment

Fast-paced manufacturing yard or indoor facility with exposure to varying weather conditions and heavy equipment noise. Prolonged periods of standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching throughout the shift. Must be able to safely lift, carry, and maneuver materials and tools weighing up to 75 pounds at a time.
