Role And Responsibilities
- Preparing, facilitating, and conducting Systems Engineering and Technical Review (SETR) events on behalf of weapon system programs.
- These include Systems Requirements Reviews (SRR), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR), and Critical Design Reviews (CDR).
- Assess contract data requirements list (CDRL) item completion, particularly for Design Artifacts, on weapon contracts on behalf of the government.
- Provide programmatic risk management advice to government materiel leaders.
- Evaluate system test plans for accomplishment of program and end-user needs, including lab, ground, and flight-testing events.
- Experienced with Model-Based Systems Engineering design concepts.
- Adherence to the Department of War’s Mission Engineering Guide in daily functions.
- Clearly communicate with and/or brief senior military, contract, and civilian personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Science degree in Aeronautical, Electrical, Systems, Software, or similar engineering field and 18+ years of relevant experience.
- Have SME-level industry or government experience demonstrating and practicing knowledge, skills, and abilities as a senior engineer and/or in technical program management.
Desired Qualifications
- PhD in Aeronautical, Electrical, Systems, Software, or similar engineering field.
Clearance Requirements
- Top Secret clearance.
- Eligible for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access.
