About the role
Office Location: Abilene, Texas, United States
This role involves regular contact with investment brokers, customers, other financial institutions, holding company banks, and investment/security companies. Errors in this position could result in major financial loss, litigation, or loss of confidence in the organization. Constant collaboration with other department employees is required.
Responsibilities
- Process trades, including mutual funds, equity block trades, money market, and stocks for fully managed and directed accounts with limited supervision, relying on your own knowledge, expertise, judgment, and discretion within general company guidelines.
- Cross-train investment assistants to perform trading duties when necessary.
- Prepare annual investment reviews and provide administrative support for the investment manager.
- Actively participate in the sales and service culture while adhering to all established policies and procedures.
Physical effort for this role is light.
Requirements
- A degree in accounting or finance, or three years of trust/investment/banking operations experience.
- Ability to understand complex and varied instructions.
- Strong complex math skills, analytical ability, and proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.
- Critical skills include accuracy, reliability, confidentiality, communication, organizational skills, and a professional demeanor.
