About the Role
The Generations Consulting Team serves as the planning and investment consultation group supporting the delivery of financial planning services and implementation through investment solutions to high net worth (HNW) clients. This position is critical in serving as the primary contact between the financial advisors and clients with complex needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop solutions-based strategies for clients with complex needs using a team approach which require specific technical knowledge in a particular subject matter area.
- Communicate with financial advisors and clients to gain understanding of client's needs, aide in documenting client goals, articulate investment strategy and recommendations, identify expertise needed to help the client achieve their goal, and help build relationships with clients and financial advisors.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for a specific topic that supports the creation of goals-based advice recommendations for clients with complex needs.
- Contribute to firm goals, projects and initiatives to better serve branch teams and clients.
- Contribute to department/team goals, projects and initiatives to better serve branch teams and clients.
- Serve as subject matter expert for complex cases requiring deep technical knowledge and experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting or Law required.
- 7+ years' experience in the Financial Services Industry.
- Series 7 and 66 required within 6 months of hire.
- Insurance license required within 6 months of hire.
- CFP designation process began within 6 months of hire.
What You Will Do
The Wealth Strategist II leverages the extensive resources of our home office to support our financial advisors in serving their clients with complex needs. This position is critical in serving as the primary contact between the two groups. You will be called upon as a financial planning subject matter expert, on the firm's full suite of financial planning tools and how they're leveraged to help clients define their financial goals and identify solutions to keep them on-track. Additionally, you will apply knowledge of financial planning disciplines to unique client circumstances and work directly with branch teams and their clients.

- Advanced knowledge of financial planning, investment strategies, tax planning, and estate planning.
- Experience dealing with high net worth clients and addressing their complex financial needs.
- Strong analytical skills to research issues and apply appropriate solutions.
- Ability to support a financial advisor in evaluating solutions-based strategies for client needs.
- Understanding of Financial Advisor/ and Branch Team Support member(s) processes including the implementation of Core Wealth, Banking, and Financial Planning offerings.
*Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week.
