Wealth Services Manager
About the role
This role directly oversees the solicitation of new trust and wealth business from present and prospective customers, implements strategies to achieve departmental goals as part of the strategic plan, ensures departmental compliance with operating policies and procedures, supervises assigned personnel, communicates with management and staff, and provides periodic reports.
Responsibilities
- Motivate, coach, and counsel direct reports through frequent individual contact to ensure achievement of established goals.
- Play a central role in recruiting and hiring Wealth Advisors.
- Actively participate in establishing strategic direction and annual goals for the department.
- Implement strategies to achieve goals as established in the strategic plan.
- Serve as backup to the department’s Wealth Strategist as needed.
- Assist in the development of the annual department budget and adhere to budget parameters.
- Maintain a book of existing clients and actively solicit new business from current and prospective customers.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must hold and maintain a minimum of one professional designation/certification related to the Trust and/or Wealth industry (e.g., CFP®, ChFC®, CTFA).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Trust and Wealth sales and services.
- Management experience in a related field.

Work environment and physical demands
This position is in an office environment within a climate-controlled facility that can be high-traffic during peak service times. There is frequent use of the telephone, computer and other office equipment associated with this position. Individuals in this position are typically seated at their personal desk for most of the day. The individual responsible for this role must be able to perform job functions with indirect supervision and work effectively as a member of a team and independently. The individual must be capable of working harmoniously with diverse personalities of co-workers, staff and customers. This position requires regular and reliable attendance and the ability to work varying hours.
