About the role

Execute Waldron’s financial planning process, encompassing analysis, client deliverables, technical planning topics, and value-added idea generation for clients with combined annual revenue of $2MM to $8MM.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the internal execution of all aspects of the Waldron financial planning process for assigned clients.
  • Review and analyze reports and presentations covering all facets of a client’s financial picture, including investment duties.
  • Create advanced topic deliverables as required.
  • Run the internal GAP process for assigned prospective clients to prepare the closing team, including oversight of related deliverables.
  • Generate new planning and investment ideas and strategies, applying them to client situations with a focus on income tax, estate planning, risk analysis, and cash flow needs.
  • Proactively identify client and prospect needs without direct assignment by leadership.
  • Manage and develop relationships with client key stakeholders (e.g., family office, attorneys, accountants).
  • Direct and support daily team operations, monitoring performance, ensuring efficiency, and providing guidance.
  • Develop skills to transition into a Service Advisor role for more complex client relationships and potentially lead client relationships.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with all firm departments to develop holistic client engagement plans and provide top-level concierge service.
  • Attend and participate in client meetings; review meeting notes and update applicable systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field (required). Master’s degree in finance or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of three (3) years of wealth management and investment-related experience (six years preferred).
  • Three (3) years of experience working with High Net Worth (HNW) client families ($1MM+ or $5MM+ investible assets, depending on assigned client pod).
  • Passed CFP®, CFA (Level II), CPA, JD, or another approved advanced credential (required).
  • Investment Adviser Representative registration eligibility required within 3 months of start date (e.g., CFP, ChFC, PFS, CFA, CIC, Series 65, or Series 66).
