The Wealth Planning & Investment Analyst is responsible for planning and client service support to the Managing Director of Wealth Management in delivering comprehensive financial planning and investment strategies for ultra high net worth clients.

Responsibilities

The Wealth Planning & Investment Analyst will gather and analyze client data, prepare financial plans and investment-related materials, and support the overall activities of the team. Specific duties include:

  • Working closely with Managing Director, Wealth Advisors, and Trust Administrative Officers to help maintain appropriate investment strategies and asset allocations for client portfolios
  • Preparing paperwork and documents for client meetings
  • Attending client meetings and preparing summary of notes from meetings
  • Analyzing client information and preparing reports and presentations
  • Entering client data into financial planning software and preparing draft plans
  • Analyzing asset allocation and assisting in generating portfolio rebalancing trades
  • Researching financial products and pricing and contacting carriers for information as needed
  • Researching investment managers, investment services, and related pricing
  • Creating custom spreadsheets to support analysis of purchase decisions or financial planning scenarios
  • Providing back-up client service support and delivering exceptional customer service during every interaction
  • Setting up, running, and retrieving reports in the portfolio management system
  • Assisting in generating client performance reports and maintaining internal client file accuracy, completeness, and integrity
  • Actively engaging in teamwork and teambuilding and integrating into Nicolet's culture
  • Staying informed of market news, industry trends, and current legal and tax considerations related to investment decisions
  • Identifying opportunities to refer business to other areas within the Bank, as appropriate
  • Complying with all federal, state, and local regulatory rules and regulations governing financial institutions, as well as all company policies and procedures

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in a related discipline such as Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics, and 0-2 years of experience in the financial services industry. Preferred qualifications include Series 7 and 66 license, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
