For our client, we are seeking a Wealth Planning Attorney to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will provide sophisticated legal guidance on estate, business succession, and wealth transfer planning for high-net-worth clients. The attorney will work closely with internal advisors and external professionals to develop comprehensive strategies that support informed decision-making and align with broader wealth management objectives. This is a highly consultative position requiring sound judgment, strong client presence, and the ability to translate complex planning concepts into actionable recommendations. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $176,000 – $264,000 annually Responsibilities Collaborate with attorneys, CFPs, CPAs, and wealth management advisors to create comprehensive plans Assess client financial situations to identify opportunities and develop strategies Evaluate planning solutions to align with the company's investment approach Lead client presentations with credibility and influence to enable informed decisions Coordinate with external advisors to align planning objectives and execution Quickly respond to a variety of advanced planning questions using sound judgment Manage workflow to deliver timely and high-quality analyses and consultations Qualifications JD from an accredited program; additional degrees or designations such as CFP or CPA preferred 10+ years of estate and business planning experience, ideally in consulting roles Experience with high-net-worth clients in advanced estate and business planning In-depth knowledge of wealth transfer, business succession, and tax optimization strategies FINRA Series 6 or 7 and state insurance license required within first 6 months Strong analytical and organizational skills; effective collaboration required Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts into actionable guidance Benefits Comprehensive health care coverage including medical, dental, and vision care 401(k) plan with company match to support retirement savings Paid time off for vacation, holidays, and personal leave Opportunities for professional development and continuing education Access to employee assistance programs and wellness initiatives Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
