About the role

The Wealth Onboarding Specialist (Licensed) reports to the Truist Wealth Onboarding Manager and is responsible for the initial setup for newly hired Truist Wealth teammates, including Premier Bankers, to ensure a successful transition into their respective roles.

Responsibilities

  • Office setup (computers, monitors, adding supplies, etc.)
  • Training on Truist Systems
  • Preparing client onboarding packages, opening accounts, processing paperwork, and account follow-up
  • Ordering supplies, preparing advisor onboarding guides, marketing mailings, and serving as a back office liaison
  • Helping to prepare for client meetings when onsite with advisors
  • Providing remote onboarding support and troubleshooting, including working with other firms
  • Providing onsite support during transitions (2-4 weeks at a time, including nights and weekends)
  • Conducting 30, 60, and 90-day check-ins with new advisors or teams and addressing additional training needs
  • Developing and maintaining training materials to assist Financial Advisors and Client Service Associates during and after their transition
  • Developing and delivering ad hoc trainings for systems and procedures as needed
  • Providing Wealth Brokerage offboarding support for terminated Wealth teammates

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training
  • Five years of broker/dealer or financial services industry experience
  • Strong understanding of retail brokerage products, services, operations, and systems
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, reprioritize under pressure, and work well in intense environments
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Products; knowledge of brokerage systems is a plus
  • Ability to travel extensively, 2-6 weeks at a time, including weekends

Preferred Qualifications

  • FINRA SIE, 7, and 66 examinations
  • Advanced degree (or some schooling) in business, law, or accounting (including Graduate, Banking, or Graduate Trust School)
  • Other professional designations
