Responsibilities
- Work closely with Wealth Management Advisors (WMAs) and Wealth Management Consultants (WMCs) in all requirements of the sales process, onboarding, and servicing clients.
- Support multiple WMAs and WMCs to increase investment advisory, brokerage, and mutual fund sales while aiding in operational tasks.
- Open new client accounts, process client requests, monitor client funding, report on Annual Reviews and Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs), and troubleshoot issues.
- Prepare Advisors for upcoming client meetings, including preparing/updating financial plans, conducting investment research, and preparing documentation for new business or other client transactions.
- Process all new and existing client transactions from beginning to end, ensuring accuracy and timely completion, including Client Reviews and RMDs.
- Communicate directly with clients or agents on all service-related questions and changes, handling complex issues with little or no Advisor involvement.
- Maintain compliance-approved materials, such as sales literature, brochures, prospectuses, forms, and manuals, while ensuring the integrity of client files and records (hard copy and e-files).
- Perform all other tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years' financial services experience preferred, with direct exposure to both B/D and RIA platforms.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong organizational skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fingerprinting and background check required; ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact via phone, email, and in-person.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Must be able to work from our office in West Des Moines, Iowa.
