About the role
The Wealth Management Banker in the affluent segment is responsible for the overall affluent client experience, ensuring collaboration of relevant entities to deliver the full spectrum of U.S. Bank products and services. This includes identifying other experts such as mortgage, small business banking, and personal trust services. The role involves developing, managing, and retaining client relationships for Affluent Wealth Management through proactive contact of assigned and prospective clients. You will provide expert advice and counsel, focusing on understanding clients’ needs and goals to recommend tailored product and service solutions.
This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. You will be subject to the required registration process, which includes a criminal background and credit check. Failure to meet or maintain NMLS registration requirements may result in rescission of your offer or termination of employment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and retain client relationships for Affluent Wealth Management through proactive outreach to assigned and prospective clients.
- Provide expert advice and counsel to affluent clients, focusing on understanding their financial needs and goals.
- Recommend and deliver tailored product and service solutions, including collaboration with mortgage, small business banking, and personal trust experts.
- Drive business growth by engaging in wealth discussions with clients to expand the book of business.
- Maintain compliance with NMLS registration and other regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Five or more years of experience in Wealth Management, private banking, and/or senior-level financial services.
- Series 6-63 or Series 7-63 licenses.
- NMLS registration (required post-hire).

Pay
The salary range for this role is $91,440.00 - $111,760.00, based on the primary location. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contributions (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
