About the Role
You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients while developing comprehensive financial plans tailored to their goals. This is a true combination of relationship management and technical financial planning.
- Build, own, and deepen long-term client relationships
- Advise clients on investment decisions, portfolio strategy, and wealth management
- Develop comprehensive financial plans covering retirement, tax strategy, insurance, and estate planning
- Conduct detailed discovery and ongoing planning meetings
- Regularly review and update financial plans as client circumstances evolve
- Grow your book through relationships, referrals, networking, and community involvement
- Play an increasingly important role in the growth and future direction of the firm
Requirements
- CFP® required or within 12 months of completion
- Approximately 4–8+ years of wealth management, financial planning, or advisory experience
- Strong client relationship and business-development skills
- Ability to deliver detailed, comprehensive financial planning—not simply investment management
- Working knowledge of tax, retirement, insurance, and estate planning concepts
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the desire to build a valuable long-term book of business
