Responsibilities
- Manage ongoing client relationships
- Deliver holistic financial planning
- Provide tailored investment guidance aligned to Schwab’s approach to investing
- Collaborate closely with an experienced advisory team to support clients through complex financial decisions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Active FINRA Series 7 license
- May be obtained with a 120-day condition of employment for certified and current CFP® designation or CFA® designation holders, verified before hire
- Active FINRA Series 66 license (or equivalent)
Qualifications
- Client Experience: Ability to build trust by listening actively, asking thoughtful questions, and clearly translating complex financial concepts into guidance clients can understand and act on.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize client meetings, planning work, and follow-through while clearly setting expectations, timelines, and next steps with clients and partners.
- Financial Planning: Applies financial planning principles and communicates recommendations in a way that aligns portfolios to client goals, risk tolerance, and long-term outcomes.
- Coachability: Actively seeks, receives, and applies feedback; communicates openly about development needs and adjusts approach to continuously improve advisory effectiveness.
- Self-Awareness: Demonstrates awareness of strengths and limitations, communicates questions or concerns early, and escalates appropriately to serve clients well.
