Responsibilities
- Serve as lead advisor and subject matter expert for wealth clients and internal bank partners.
- Deliver comprehensive wealth planning services including retirement, estate, tax-efficient strategies, trust services, and business succession planning.
- Actively promote and sell Girard’s wealth services to internal commercial bank partners to drive referrals and new client acquisition.
- Partner with commercial bankers to present investment and planning solutions to business owner clients.
- Lead clients and prospects through comprehensive wealth planning.
- Develop, maintain, and expand a network of centers of influence to identify and generate new business opportunities.
- Lead client meetings sourced through internal warm referrals and external networking.
- Create and execute strategies to maximize referral flow from internal partners and COIs.
- Coach and mentor associate advisors to support professional development.
- Participate in marketing campaigns and client events to deepen relationships and drive new opportunities.
- Leverage Salesforce CRM to track relationship activity and prospect pipeline.
- Accountable for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including the Univest Code of Conduct.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, psychology or related field.
- 7+ years of experience advising high net-worth clients, ideally including business owners.
- FINRA Series 65 required.
- CFP required; CFA, CTFA or CEPA strongly preferred.
- Wealth Planning software experience, preferably Emoney.
- Demonstrated success in sourcing new wealth relationships and managing the full client lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with internal (preferably bank) teams and influence cross-referrals.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with an ability to simplify complex financial strategies.
- Self-starter with the ability to set priorities, execute responsibilities, and exceed client expectations.
