About the role
Frost is seeking a Performance Test Engineer for our San Antonio, TX location. This is a full-time, on-site position.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute performance test plans and scripts for enterprise applications
- Identify performance bottlenecks and work with development teams to resolve issues
- Analyze test results and provide recommendations for system optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure performance requirements are met
- Maintain and enhance performance testing frameworks and tools
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar
- Strong understanding of software performance engineering principles
- Experience with monitoring tools and performance analysis
- Knowledge of web technologies, databases, and application servers
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in performance testing or related role
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance tests
- Scripting skills in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Pay
$3,000 – $15,000
