About the role

The Wealth Advisor position is the backbone of the practice at Carson Wealth. This individual will focus on building and establishing new client relationships, providing advisory services, and supporting current clients at the highest level. This role requires the ability to navigate hard/emotional client conversations in a solutions-focused manner, build a robust book of business, and maintain a positive and supportive environment for all team members.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and lead/present the Proven Process
  • Understand and utilize Bucketing, Investment, and Tax Strategies
  • Provide exceptional active listening skills during Discovery and Clarification meetings
  • Achieve and exceed client acquisition goals through proactive business development efforts
  • Collaborate with team members from other offices to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Prepare thoroughly for client meetings and delegate tasks to the service team
  • Navigate hard/emotional client conversations with empathy and professionalism
  • Handle the largest, most complex, and demanding clients
  • Develop Crucial Conversation and Active Listening skills
  • Empathize with clients, their families, and their circumstances
  • Stay knowledgeable and effective with complex client situations
  • Unrelentingly pursue what's best for the client
  • Teach and present the firm's Core Values and Core Focus in various settings
  • Create and sustain a business development plan, engaging with communities and expanding reach
  • Mentor Associate Wealth Advisors, Client Service Associates, and the rest of the team

Requirements

  • 5+ years investment advisory experience
  • CFP or CFA preferred
  • Active Series 65 or 66 license
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field, preferred
  • Computer literacy and aptitude for learning new programs and processes
  • Knowledge of Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Knowledge of Financial Industry programs (Salesforce, Orion, eMoney, MoneyGuide), preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and prioritization skills
  • Genuine interest in serving and caring for others
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Self-motivation and a desire for growth

Qualifications

  • Existing and established book of business
  • Clean U-4 and U-5 history
  • Proficiency in CRM and Financial Planning software
  • Ability to adapt to new tools and technologies

Benefits

  • Base salary ranging from $60,000.00/year to $125,000.00/year
  • Variable compensation potential (Bonus and/or commissions)

Pay

The base pay for this position across all US geographic markets ranges from $60,000.00/year to $125,000.00/year. Pay is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Schedule

Work a majority of the time in the office. Some travel may be required.
