About the role

Zions Wealth Management is a specialized division within the bank that offers comprehensive financial services to affluent, high-net-worth individuals, families, and businesses. These services include personalized investment strategies, financial planning, estate and tax planning, succession planning, and risk management. The primary goal is to help clients grow and preserve their wealth while providing expert guidance to navigate complex financial situations and achieve their long-term financial objectives.

As a Zions Wealth Advisor, your role will be to build wealth management relationships by cultivating and nurturing robust relationships with banking team members, including Retail Bankers, Community/Business Bankers, Private Bankers, Commercial Bankers, Investment Management Portfolio Managers, and Advanced Planning Professionals. You will deliver an exceptional client experience, evaluate and educate clients, develop tailored solutions, and implement investment strategies to meet their needs.

Responsibilities

  • Financial planning and investment management
  • Insurance and trust services
  • Making presentations to clients and internal teams
  • Partnering with internal banking professionals to deliver client solutions
  • Coordinating with wealth management team members to provide tailored recommendations
  • Exhibiting a strong passion for top-tier client experience in a collaborative environment
  • Utilizing a client-centric consulting process, starting with discovery and financial planning
  • Applying extensive knowledge of investment, insurance, and banking strategies
  • Demonstrating exceptional communication, relationship management, and sales skills
  • Evaluating, advising, and supporting clients effectively

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 4 years of directly related experience (10+ years preferred); a combination of education and experience may meet requirements
  • Required licensing: FINRA Series 7 & 66 (or 65/63), life and health insurance
  • CFP® certification highly preferred
  • Proficiency in computers and relevant software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Exceptional analytical and presentation skills
  • Experience with financial planning software and complex financial modeling
  • Proven track record of building and managing high-net-worth client relationships
  • History of successfully exceeding sales targets
  • Keen understanding of financial planning
