Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as the trusted advisor and primary contact for all client needs, providing strategic advice across investment management, wealth transfer, and financial planning.
- Develop a deep understanding of each client’s goals, preferences, and family dynamics to deliver tailored strategies and maintain long-lasting relationships.
- Conduct regular client reviews to ensure portfolios and planning strategies remain aligned with objectives and market conditions.
- Collaborate with clients’ attorneys, accountants, and other advisors to ensure a cohesive approach to wealth management.
- Lead and oversee the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth and exceptional experience.
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities from existing relationships, internal referrals, and external centers of influence.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients through networking, community involvement, and strategic outreach.
- Deliver a disciplined discovery and planning process to identify client needs and position comprehensive solutions that generate new assets, deposits, and lending opportunities.
- Develop and execute a personal business development plan to meet or exceed revenue and growth objectives.
Client Experience & Service Delivery
- Ensure consistent delivery of the First County Advisors client experience and uphold service standards across all client segments.
- Maintain accountability for client satisfaction, proactively addressing concerns and coordinating with team members to resolve issues promptly.
- Stay current on financial markets, investment products, and planning strategies to inform clients and deliver relevant, timely advice.
- Accurately document client communications, planning activity, and service delivery in the firm’s CRM system.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with internal partners, including other lines of business such as commercial, retail, mortgage, and business banking, to deliver an integrated client experience.
- Represent the Wealth Management division in community and professional settings to build visibility and trust.
- Promote a culture of excellence, accountability, and client-centric service through personal leadership and collaboration.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in Finance, Economics, or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in wealth management, private banking, or financial advisory roles.
- Proven success in managing relationships with affluent or high-net-worth individuals and families.
- Advanced credentials such as CFP®, CFA®, CTFA, CPWA®, JD, or MBA strongly preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and consultative selling skills.
- Deep knowledge of investment management, estate planning, financial planning, and credit solutions.
- Some local travel between branches required.
