About the role
We are seeking a client-focused Wealth Advisor to deliver comprehensive financial planning and investment management services to high-net-worth individuals and families. The Wealth Advisor will build and manage long-term client relationships, develop customized wealth strategies that align with clients' goals and risk tolerance, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain deep, trust-based relationships with high-net-worth clients through regular meetings, proactive outreach, and responsive service.
- Create comprehensive financial plans addressing investments, retirement planning, tax strategies, estate planning, insurance, and cash flow management tailored to each client's objectives.
- Manage client investment portfolios, including asset allocation, security selection, performance monitoring, and rebalancing in line with clients' risk profiles and goals.
- Provide objective advice and educate clients about market conditions, financial products, and strategies to help them make informed decisions.
- Cook up with internal specialists (tax, trust, insurance, private banking) and external advisors (attorneys, accountants) to deliver integrated wealth solutions.
- Proliferate for and onboard new clients through referrals, networking, and targeted business development activities to grow AUM and client base.
- Prepare client proposals, investment policy statements, performance reports, and other documentation to support recommendations and reviews.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, firm policies, and fiduciary standards; maintain accurate client records and documentation.
- Participate in practice management activities, contribute to team initiatives, and mentor junior advisors or associates when applicable.
Qualifications
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a financial advisor or wealth manager serving high-net-worth clients, with a demonstrated track record of growing and retaining client relationships.
- Deep knowledge of investment products, portfolio construction, risk management, retirement planning, tax-aware strategies, and estate planning fundamentals.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in simple terms.
- Business development skills with a proven ability to generate referrals and new client relationships.
- High ethical standards, client-first mindset, and commitment to fiduciary responsibility and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency with financial planning software, CRM systems, and portfolio management tools; comfort analyzing financial statements and market data.
