Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on incoming materials, in‑process, and final product to ensure quality levels are met.
• Conduct first‑piece set‑up and First Article Inspections in accordance with established inspection plans.
• Conduct receiving, in‑process, final inspections, and first‑piece set‑up utilizing appropriate measuring tools and equipment to verify dimensional and functional requirements.
• Conduct visual examination of product in accordance with customer specifications and company workmanship standards.
• Perform formal documented First Article Inspection (FAI) reports for internal and external customers.
• Prepare, maintain, and review inspection reports.
• Perform containment activities to prevent potential or additional quality defects.
• Assist in the development of in‑process control charts for monitoring and improving performance.
• Provide internal and external audit support as requested.
• Support engineering functions with data collection, product review, etc., as requested.
• Effectively communicate with cross‑functional areas: supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, quality engineering, customer service, and production planning.
• Participate in lean activities as required.
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
