About the role

Provide instructional services necessary to educate all students to high standards that align with district state and federal requirements guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans based on district and state curriculum standards.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed to meet individual learning needs.
• Engage students in active learning through various instructional methods.
• Evaluate student work and provide feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support a positive learning environment and promote student success.
• Participate in professional development activities to stay updated on educational best practices.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas OR be eligible to obtain an alternative teaching credential.
• Must possess knowledge of effective practices including principles theories procedures and techniques used in lesson plan development and classroom instruction.
