WATERMARK ROOM ATTENDANT

About the role

The Room Attendant at Watermark BR is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms while providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests. Reporting to the Director of Housekeeping, this position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with previous hotel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Able to exert medium work - occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, frequently carrying up to 20 pounds, and constantly pushing or pulling objects.
• Stand throughout the shift.
• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and nametag.
• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Complete pre-cleaning duties, including setting up guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for the housekeeping cart.
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Keep all hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed (if applicable).
• Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for the next day’s use.

Qualifications

This position requires an individual with the ability to exert medium work, stand during the entire shift, and provide attentive service. Previous hotel experience is preferred, but a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
