About the role
Lead transformative water and wastewater treatment projects while shaping the future of our regional practice. In this pivotal role, you'll mentor and orchestrate engineering teams through complex water and wastewater treatment design projects, serve as a trusted client advisor, and develop the next generation of water/wastewater engineers. You'll combine deep technical expertise with strategic business development to deliver exceptional projects on time and within budget, building lasting partnerships that strengthen communities and expand our presence across the region.
Responsibilities
- Build a water/wastewater treatment business in Florida to complement the existing conveyance team.
- Function as the central point of coordination between clients, design teams, and stakeholders; maintain strong client relationships.
- Support business development activities including direct client interaction and engagement.
- Serve as project manager and/or technical subject matter expert for municipal water/wastewater treatment projects.
- Actively lead and participate in project pursuit and delivery to create an exemplary client experience.
- Lead, train, and mentor project teams through the planning and design of water and wastewater treatment projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration in the state of employment or ability to be registered with reciprocity.
- 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater collection, distribution, pumping systems, storage, treatment, and utility infrastructure design.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Adaptable and self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
