Water/Wastewater Staff Engineer
Dewberry has an excellent career opportunity for a Water/Wastewater Staff Engineer in our Charlotte, NC office to join our growing Southeast water team with a focus on industrial treatment design.

The Staff Engineer will support our team on water and wastewater design projects for industrial clients. Responsibilities
- Assist with developing and managing water/wastewater programs with a focus on treatment, management, and reuse.
- Perform treatment plant process evaluations and troubleshooting, feasibility studies, bench scale and pilot scale studies, design, plant operation, and regulatory negotiation/permitting.
- Work with design teams across multiple offices and disciplines to generate detailed design documents for construction plans.
- Meet client deadlines and project budgets.
Requirements
- B.S. Degree in Environmental, Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.
- M.S. degree in Environmental Engineering (preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience with progressive responsibilities for water and wastewater projects.
- NC FE preferred.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is required.
- Familiarity with modeling and GIS software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, subconsultants, and county/agency review staff.
- Water/Wastewater infrastructure experience is a plus.
