About the role

As a Water/Wastewater Project Manager in Montana, you will provide technical design solutions and manage a team of professionals and projects. We specialize in executing advanced solutions for municipal client challenges. This role is ideal if you enjoy meaningful projects, a collaborative team atmosphere, client interaction, and possess technical expertise in water/wastewater, biological nutrient removal, pumps and pump stations, pipelines, and/or water treatment. Project managers and engineers also have the opportunity to work on cross-functional teams throughout the U.S. with leading experts in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single-discipline planning projects or large, routine projects.
  • Independently coordinate work of engineers and balance planning team throughout entire project's development.
  • Establish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings.
  • Participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance.
  • Conduct work sessions for design development and contract document in conjunction with other staff.
  • Coordinate workload throughout entire project development, and ensure completion of documents on schedule.
  • Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to schedule.
  • Work with Business/Accounting Manager or Project Controller and Department Manager for project reviews and with company management as needed.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 7 years related experience
  • A minimum 2 years project management experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • MS Office and MS Project experience (Access experience would be a plus)
  • Demonstrated leadership skills

Pay

The expected compensation range for this position is $109,260 – $156,085 annually, depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
