About the role

We are seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager with at least eight (8) years of experience in water resources and/or wastewater. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Civil Engineering or a related field, a Professional Engineer (PE) license, and increasing skills in creativity and judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Self-perform and direct project teams in the planning and design of water-related infrastructure projects
  • Play an important role in managing client relationships
  • Involvement in strategic initiatives to drive the growth of the water/wastewater group, both locally and nationally
  • Flexible hybrid work schedule with some travel as necessary for client needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline required
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience with water resources and/or wastewater
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required

Qualifications

  • Increasing skills in creativity and judgment in application of engineering
  • Increased knowledge of software appropriate for the discipline
  • Ability to collaborate with others in a team environment

Skills

  • Advanced recognition of the need for and development of design
  • Perform complex analysis
  • Check and sign off on basic design calculations
  • Layout drawings for a component and demonstrate an understanding of relationships
  • Design elements/components of a project and coordinate development with other elements and disciplines
  • Demonstrate understanding between specifications, cost estimates and pay items
  • Assume responsibility for assigned design calculation files, assuring adequate independent QC reviews

Pay

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $125,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

This position offers a flexible hybrid work schedule with some travel as necessary for client needs.
