About the role
The Water/Wastewater Project Manager position at Benesch involves managing a broad range of water resources projects, including planning and design of infrastructure projects. Responsibilities
- Self-perform and direct project teams in the planning and design of water-related infrastructure projects
- Play an important role in managing client relationships
- Assume responsibility for assigned design calculation files, ensuring adequate independent quality control reviews
- Perform complex analysis and check and sign off on basic design calculations
- Layout drawings for components and demonstrate an understanding of relationships between design elements and other disciplines
- Demonstrate understanding between specifications, cost estimates, and pay items
- Collaborate with other team members in a team environment
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline required
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience with water resources and/or wastewater
- PE required
- Increasing skills in creativity and judgment in application of engineering
- Increased knowledge of software appropriate for the discipline
