Water/Wastewater Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Aid in project scope, budget development, and project design.
• Support Project Manager (PM) with technical leadership on conventional projects.
• Supports the design of experiments, interpretation of complex data, and development of conclusions.
• Lead the design and delivery of small to medium single-discipline projects and contribute as design lead on larger, multi-discipline projects.
• Write, produce, and review engineering specifications, documents, drawings, and other deliverables for clients.
• Accountable for developing, coordinating, and completing project documents for assigned scope, whether for an entire smaller project or a significant portion of a larger project.
• Participate in client meetings, as appropriate.
• Conduct on-site visits to monitor progress of project(s).
• Direct and mentor EITs and Designers in preparation of project plans.
• Monitor schedule and quality of technical team's work on projects and budget adherence.
• Utilization rates align with goal.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 6 or more years of engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
• Solve problems effectively while managing multiple deadlines.
• Apply practical knowledge acquired through progressive experience to resolve issues.
• Strong working knowledge of CAD, design and calculation software, and other essential equipment for field and office work.
• Keep informed of new methods and developments affecting the organization.

Qualifications
