Water/Wastewater Pipeline Engineer
POSITION SUMMARY
The Water/Wastewater Pipeline Engineer will be responsible for the planning, design, and construction oversight of water and wastewater pipeline infrastructure projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- May supervise and give technical directions to engineers, engineering or computer-aided design (CAD) technicians, and other technical staff assisting with water and/or wastewater projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
- Licensed engineer in Texas or Oklahoma.
- At least ten years of related experience required.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships.
- Ability to design safe, efficient, and effective sanitary lift stations, water plants, and wastewater treatment plants.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, computer-aided Design (CAD) software, and other relevant analytical, scientific, or monitoring software.
- Thorough understanding of applicable government environmental, safety regulations and permitting processes.
