Water/Wastewater Engineer

As a Water/Wastewater Engineer, you'll help shape the infrastructure that keeps cities running and people safe.
Responsibilities
- Design, lead, and manage projects involving treatment, distribution, and collection systems.
- Collaborate with engineers, operators, and municipal clients to develop creative, cost-effective solutions.
- Oversee project scopes, budgets, and schedules while mentoring junior staff.
- Prepare reports, technical memoranda, and construction documents that reflect high standards of quality.
- Complete construction administration tasks including coordination with contractors and clients, attending meetings, reviewing submittals and pay applications, and preparing punch list and closeout documents.
- Engage with clients and communities to communicate technical ideas clearly and confidently.
- Contribute to business development and proposal efforts as you grow into a trusted advisor.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master's a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in water/wastewater system design and project delivery.
- PE license or EIT actively pursuing licensure.
- Experience with AutoDesk tools and hydraulic/process modeling software.
- Familiarity with BIM software such as Revit is a plus.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate efficiently with teammates in different disciplines and locations.
- Willingness to continue learning to fill different roles based on project needs that vary in breadth, depth, and subject matter.
- Willingness to receive and understand instructions/guidance and complete tasks independently.
Salary Range
Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000 per year. The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
