Water/Wastewater Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the design of water transmission and distribution systems, pumping stations, conveyance systems, water treatment systems, water/wastewater distribution planning, master planning, and treatment plant rehabilitation and expansions
• Managing project tasks, project design and permitting, construction coordination, and coordinating work with other team members
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to contribute to the successful completion of assigned projects
• Maintain a high degree of professionalism and exceptional client service
• Absorb project progress, budgets, and schedules

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant municipal wastewater engineering design experience
• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an ABET-accredited university in Civil Engineering
• "Engineer-In-Training" or "Engineering Intern" certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
• Experience with designing pipelines, pump stations, gravity systems, and hydraulic modeling calculations
• Experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Communicate technical thoughts clearly and concisely
• Detail-oriented with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
• Ability to work independently and as a team
