Responsibilities
- Assist in the design of water transmission and distribution systems, pumping stations, conveyance systems, water treatment systems, water/wastewater distribution planning, master planning, and treatment plant rehabilitation and expansions
- Manage project tasks, project design and permitting, construction coordination, and coordinate work with other team members
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to contribute to the successful completion of assigned projects
- Maintain a high degree of professionalism and exceptional client service
- Absorb and monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules
Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant municipal wastewater engineering design experience
- Bachelor's or Master's from an ABET accredited university in the field of Civil Engineering
- "Engineer-In-Training" or "Engineering Intern" certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
- Experience with designing pipelines, pump stations, gravity systems, and hydraulic modeling calculations
- Experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Communicate technical thoughts clearly and concisely
- Detail-oriented with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
- Ability to work independently and as a team
