Water/Wastewater Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves taking responsibility for complex assignments, making decisions on significant design and engineering procedures, and supervising small teams.

Responsibilities

• Taking responsibility for performing complex assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection and modification of standard engineering techniques and procedures
• Making decisions on significant design and engineering procedures as needed
• Functioning as technical specialist or project manager on mid-size projects as needed
• Supervising small staff of professionals and technicians as needed
• Performing other duties as needed

Requirements

• A Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field with a minimum of 5 years experience designing and creating plans and specifications for water and wastewater projects
• Absolutely required: Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of a task

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
• Previous experience designing and creating plans and specifications for water and wastewater projects
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Skills

Preferred qualifications include working knowledge in water main design, condition assessment, water treatment; working knowledge of CAD, Civil 3D, and Revit.
