Water / Wastewater Engineer

About the role

The successful candidate will be expected to work as a team member for studies and / or detailed design and construction services for water / wastewater treatment plants, pump stations and collection / distribution systems.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed designs of water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations and collection/distribution systems.
• Prepare drawings, write specifications, analysis and study-level reports for water and wastewater systems, determine appropriate design methods, equipment sizing and selection, and cost estimation.
• Aid the project manager throughout the design and construction phases of projects.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
• M.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering is preferred.
• MicroStation and/or AutoCAD experience a plus.
• A minimum of 3 years experience designing and creating plans and specifications for water and wastewater projects.
• Preference given to local candidates.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.
• Previous experience designing and creating plans and specifications for water and wastewater projects.
• Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered.

Pay

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.) Cincinnati: $75,040 - $107,200
