Water Wastewater Engineer

About the role

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our Water Team in Bethlehem, PA. This role involves providing advanced judgement and analysis techniques to complete complex engineering designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents for water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced judgement and analysis techniques to complete complex engineering designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents for water, wastewater, and stormwater projects
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of projects with other engineering disciplines and project management staff
• Monitor project progress and performance to ensure efficient production and minimize issues in vital infrastructure
• Complete projects within budget and scheduling constraints, supporting sustainable and cost-effective solutions
• Provide guidance and technical review for junior engineering staff

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required
• Minimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience required
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• Advanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws
• Prominent leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred

CHA Consulting, Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $98,000 - $110,000, which is based on a variety of factors including qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
