What You Will Do

GFT is seeking a Water/Wastewater Conveyance Engineer to join our Water Team in Colorado. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular attendance at our Denver, CO office.

Joining the water team at GFT means contributing to innovative solutions for sustainable water management and infrastructure. Our team excels in dams and levees, advanced water and wastewater treatment, stormwater management, and conveyance, collection, and transmission.

What You’ll Be Challenged To Do

  • Provide technical leadership and support to a team of skilled engineers, leveraging your expertise to enhance the team’s capabilities while managing multiple projects.
  • Overseeing the planning, design, and construction of water distribution, wastewater collection, and stormwater systems, as well as pump/lift stations.
  • Prepare construction documents and specifications, and manage construction oversight and administration for both new construction and rehabilitation projects.

Education | Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or a related field of study.
  • P.E license in Colorado.
  • 5+ years of related experience, including: Design and construction of water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, storm water systems, pipelines, and pump/lift stations.
  • Proficiency with CAD, Civil 3D, and BentleyStrong, clear, and concise written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent technical writing skills.
  • Functional experience with MS Office applications.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $135,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
