Water Treatment Plant Superintendent

About the role

This position is responsible for managing and supervising the city's water treatment plan.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the operation of the water treatment plant to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
• Oversee daily operations including monitoring water quality, equipment maintenance, and staff training.
• Ensure the safety and efficiency of the water treatment process.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve water treatment processes and reduce operational costs.
• Collaborate with other departments to address water supply issues and ensure adequate water availability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in water treatment operations and management.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 annually.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
