Water Treatment Plant Operations Specialist (Night-shift)

About the role

The City of Dunn is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Water Treatment Plant Operations Specialist. This employee performs operational, laboratory and maintenance functions in the water treatment plant. Work will be performed on night shift to include some weekends and holidays. Typical work month is 15 nights (12 hour shift).

Requirements

• High school graduate supplemented by course work in chemistry or biology; or any equivalent of education and experience.
• NC Class C Driver’s License.
• C-Surface Water Treatment Plant Operator Certification or ability to achieve upon completion of NC Public Water Supply requirements.
