About the role
Step into your new role as a Water System Operator for our Katy, TX and Sealy, TX areas. This is a flexible position offering up to 15 hours weekly.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain pumps, motors, blowers
- Complete and follow-up on work orders and process control monitoring
- Monitor and record flow meters and system run hours
- Service and maintain equipment and overall plant
- Clean sand filters and media filters
- Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot electrical controls (with proper training and equipment)
- Collect samples for analysis and maintain chain of custody
- Log plant operation details, on computer and in writing; prepare reports
- Monitor treatment processes and apply standard operational adjustments based on those results
Requirements
- Good and effective communication skills
- Good analytical and organizational abilities
- Committed to following established policies and procedures
- 75% field work and 25% office time
- Valid Driver's License
- Valid Class C Water Operator License is preferred. Class D Water Operator License is acceptable if a Class C is obtainable within a year.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

- Valid Class C Water Operator License is preferred. Class D Water Operator License is acceptable if a Class C is obtainable within a year.

Pay
Anticipated salary is $30.00 per hour to $45.00 per hour.
