About the role
Baxter & Woodman has a rewarding opportunity for a Stormwater Engineer III in our St. Augustine Florida office.
Responsibilities
- Design of municipal drainage systems, hydraulic studies, pumping stations, pavement, and local roadways.
- Land Development design of private commercial sites, residential subdivisions, recreation sites and institutional sites.
- Hydraulic and hydrologic modeling designs for drainage basins, water quality improvements and stormwater collection systems.
- Preparing stormwater master plan reports and preliminary engineering reports.
- Performing analyses using Geographic Information System (GIS) tools.
- Meeting and coordinating with municipal, county, and state clients.
- Obtaining permits related to stormwater management.
- Aiding in construction engineering services for municipal, county, and state clients.
- Aiding other project engineers as needed during project delivery.
Requirements
- B.S. degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Professional Engineer license in the State of Florida (or transfer from another state) is required.
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience.
- Modeling experience using ICPR4 and SWMM.
- Experience and knowledge of regulatory agency requirements pertaining to land development including stormwater design.
- Ability to travel throughout Baxter & Woodman service area (own transportation).
- Strong written, verbal, computer, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Qualifications
- Must have a B.S. degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.

Pay
The pay range for this role is $100,000-$130,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, and certifications.
