About the role

This position is a unique opportunity to influence and make decisions regarding our state's water resources. In this role, you will develop policies, guidance documents, and procedural work products to improve implementation of instream flow rules. You will also have the opportunity to work with experts in the field to develop solutions to complex water resources issues related to rulemaking.

Responsibilities

  • Develop policies, guidance documents, and procedural work products to improve implementation of instream flow rules.
  • Work with experts in the field to develop solutions to complex water resources issues related to rulemaking.

Requirements

  • Livable within a commutable distance from the duty station.
  • Additional 5% pay increase if the final location is the Northwest Region Office (NWRO) in Shoreline, WA.

Qualifications

  • Experience in developing policies, guidance documents, and procedural work products related to water resources.
  • Expertise in working with experts in the field to develop solutions to complex water resources issues related to rulemaking.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of water resources management principles and practices.

Benefits

Pay

$78,120.00 - $105,096.00 Annually

Schedule

Eligible for up to an 90% tele-work schedule.
