About the role

Geosyntec Consultants is seeking a Principal level Water Resources Market Leader to join our growing national Water Resources Practice. The position is based out of our Los Angeles, CA; San Diego, CA; Sacramento, CA; Lakewood, CO or other U.S. based offices. Remote work from home-office is available.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic business planning to segment and target specific industrial, commercial and municipal clients for projects such as water supply, groundwater and surface water modeling, water availability, use and re-use, as well as regulatory considerations for water rights permitting; focused on the West Region Water Resources market;
  • Engagement with project and operations staff to align Geosyntec’s full service delivery capabilities with market demands;
  • Serve in the capacity of a Client Account Manager on selected accounts deemed critical to Geosyntec’s Water Resources market;
  • Active participation in professional societies, conferences, and meetings that will increase the visibility of the firm to potential clients and recruits.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years (15+ preferred) of direct water resources, hydrogeology, or engineering consulting experience working on water resource, contaminated sites, and mining projects; or equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams;
  • Demonstrated success in project management, sales, and business development;
  • Excellent leadership and detail-orientation skills;
  • Experience with design and implementation of field hydrogeology programs in glacial, basalt, and clastic aquifer systems;
  • Experience with numerical modeling of groundwater flow and well test analysis;
  • Ability and willingness to perform fieldwork and travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Water Resources, Hydrogeology, Civil, Environmental or related engineering discipline with emphasis on water resources;
  • Advanced degree in the same/similar;
  • Professional registration (i.e., PE, CHG).

Pay

Minimum Salary: $149,330 /year / Maximum Salary: $259,690 /year (San Diego, CA, Sacramento, CA)

Minimum Salary: $156,115 /year / Maximum Salary: $271,495 /year (Los Angeles, CA)

Minimum Salary: $142,540 /year / Maximum Salary: $247,885 /year (Lakewood, CO)
