About the role
The Water Resources Lead position is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of water management strategies within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive water resource management plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on water-related initiatives
- Monitor and report on water usage and conservation efforts
- Conduct regular assessments of water supply and demand
- Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes affecting water resources
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in water resources management
- Proven track record in strategic planning and project management
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of water cycle processes and hydrology
- Experience with water quality testing and analysis
- Understanding of water rights and permitting processes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
